Once the softness of the clay had reached ‘leather-hard’ stage, I applied underglazes and drew as well as carved out the design with folk-style motif.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\n\u003cp\u003eNext, the decorated plate went into the kiln to be bisque-fired at 1000 degrees Celsius. Then I added transparent glaze, and it went into the kiln again for the second firing.\u003c\/p\u003e \n\n\u003cp\u003ePlease note that due to its unique handmade nature the plate might have some imperfections, which add to it’s charm.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\n\u003cp\u003eThis plate is entirely food safe.
